We couldn't implement a perfect system. We decided to push it as it was good enough for XWiki Standard. However it was expected to improve it based on feedback we get. Can you share details about the situation where those inconsistencies show up so we can fix them for everyone?

I don't agree. XWiki should be accessible by default. For this specific case it's not that bad, but how could you activate the accessibility feature on your profile if you cannot use the tool? It becomes a bareer to entry where disabled users need abled users to configure their profile so that they can start using the wiki. I can understand providing an option so that it's easy for admins to change this default, but I disagree fully with having a non-accessible default.
