Just some notes. I tested again with a clean XWiki instance on 16.10.15 and 17.10.2 and I can reproduce the issue with the 2 instances. But it seem that the issue happen only when we upgrade some "specific" extension. Tried with the Jira-macro extension (instead of the job-macro) and this problem didn't happen. So from what I know the we can reproduce the issue only when we upgrade the job-macro extension.
Also I did this test with a clean wiki so there was no sub-wiki on the test instances that I did.
