Easiest would be to have different obfuscator implementations and the possibility in XWiki Administration to define the strategy to use (so exposing the different existing component and allowing to chose the right implementation). And maybe default should obfuscate entirely the email address: Vincent Massol do you remember why you made such obfuscation choice back then?
