[xwiki-devs] Choosing a JIRA issue ...
Hi Devs, I've gone through xwiki-core JIRA list and i selected following three issues out of which i wish to pick a one. But before jumping in, i need some guidance on which one to select. This is a good issue if you want to learn the platform. The entry point is XWikiAction.execute(). It initializes the xwiki context, then the xwiki object and then calls the abstract action() and render() methods, implemented by the specific action executed (for example ViewAction). I have a question about the JIRA bugs we are supposed to fix. If I am working on the Offline P2P project, as in adding the feature to XEclipse, am I supposed to fix XWiki bugs or XEclipse bugs? Or it does not matter which ones i fix as long as I do them right? Thanks. Yes you can pick any issue. The idea is that you start learning about the xwiki dev process in general, set up your xwiki dev environment, start looking at the code and understand the quality level that the xwiki project requires. Thanks -Vincent
