I like the idea in general but IMO the UI isn't clear since you can choose both a role AND options below but they're exclusive since AFAIU a role is a preset of those options. This is not clear from the UI.

"- Changing the role will set the preferences to a certain value that

- 'Custom' option will preserve the last user configuration (in order to

not depend of a certain role;

Selecting a Role from above will "reset to default" the preferences.
Any change on the preferences from the user's part will set the Role to
"Custom..."
