ok, I got it to work. My eclipse project wasn't a Java project so that didn't work fine. Also I was looking for a perspective when I should have been looking for a view. BTW the usage information on xwiki.org is not enough at all. The only information there is about capabilities of the plugin, not about usage. I'm trying to create a m2 build for xeclipse. I think I have it almost done.

However when I open the xeclipse project in Eclipse Europa, when I open the plugin.xml file, if I click on "launch an eclipse application" in the overview tab, I don't see the xeclipse perspective. The plugin is loaded correctly though.

Have you tried it with Eclipse Europa?

I forgot to mention that Eclipse gives several warnings for the plugin.xml and MANIFEST.MF files. I guess we should fix them. Could you have a look?
