This may be a bit of a longshot for you however, before turning to XWiki I had taken a look a egroupware (www.egroupware.org). It seems to be capable of doing what you would like, as a warning though the code is a bit overgrown and can be very messy in places. It is in php and they have managed to incorporate wikkitikkitavi into the product as their wiki engine.
