[xwiki-users] Need help for migration path from XWiki enterprise to XWiki enterprise Manager
Hello, We are currently using XWiki enterprise 1.7.2. I would like to upgrade to the last version (1.9.3) but as we have set up several instances, I would like to take avantage of XWiki enterprise manager, but I could not find information about the good migration path. Should I create a new instance of XWiki enterprise manager 1.7.3 or can I just upgrade one of the instance of XWiki enterprise to XWiki manager ? How then should I proceed with the other instance (need to upgrade each instance before doing anything, then how to merge to the manager instance ?) ? Thank's for your help. Did you looked at http://manager.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/AdminGuide/Migration and http://manager.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/AdminGuide/Installation#HConvertanex... ? Basically XEM is precndigured version of what you have with additional helper plugins/applications so upgrade you farm like it was already a XEM and it should be ok.

Thank you, the upgrade path from enterprise to manager is clearer for me now with those pages. One thing I still don't understand is once I will have upgraded my main Xwiki as a manager, what should I do to migrate my other XWikis on it ? As it is written in http://manager.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/AdminGuide/Migration "For subwikis it depends on what are theses subwikis. If its XWiki enterprise wikis then upgrade the wiki pages as you would do for any other XWiki Enterprise wiki."
