Description: This is for use with software and processes to assist in the operation of the community and non-profit "Day Worker Center of Mountain View" described in http://www.dayworkercentermv.org/ I registered as "sergioc" but don't know where to specify the name for the wiki "dayworkercentermv" which will be used with dayworkercentermv.myxwiki.org Thanks, Sergio Ciccolella
Done. It's available here: http://dayworkercentermv.myxwiki.org Note that I've set the default rights so that it's viewable by everyone but only your user has all the rights to edit, delete, administer. You can modify the rights to suite your needs. Enjoy -Vincent On Apr 27, 2009, at 11:49 PM, Sergio Ciccolella wrote:

Hi Vincent, Thank you for your time and effort. I just tried going to the URL you specified and the page attempts to load for several minutes and then displays a character with text "Hi, I'am Skol, the XWiki administrator. The service you tried to reach is down for maintenance. It will be back soon and will be faster and more stable. Thanks, Skol". Please advise. Thanks, Sergio On Mon, Apr 27, 2009 at 11:07 PM, Vincent Massol <vincent@massol.net> wrote:

Hi Sergio, We're currently having an issue on myxwiki.org with some thread deadlock (caused by Velocity it seems). We're trying to fix the problem. Try again a bit later and hopefully it'll work. Sorry about that. Thanks -Vincent On Apr 28, 2009, at 10:17 PM, Sergio Ciccolella wrote:

Sorry about that.
Upgrading to Velocity 1.6.2 seems to help, but more testing time is needed to ensure that. Later today I found another deadlocked appearing in java.util.concurrent.LinkedBlockingQueue, called from JBossCache, so now I'm trying to see how an updated JBossCache library behaves, although the threaddump suggests an impossible halt on the following line in the JDK: last = last.next = new Node<E>(x); What could possibly be wrong with this line? Unfortunately this was in a CS section, so all the other threads were waiting... -- Sergiu Dumitriu http://purl.org/net/sergiu/
