[xwiki-users] Task Manager Application - CLOB problem on Oracle
Hi, I'm running xwiki 7.3 Milestion 2 on Oracle. Task Manager Application have problems with it at least with part of it. In TaskManagerPanel there I get "ORA-00932: inconsistent datatypes: expected - got CLOB". See the attached exception report. Hi, in the roadmap for 7.4 release I can see, there is Task Manager included. Will you consider this issue to be a part of the release? Should I create an issue for it? Generally, I am repeatedly encountering problems with Oracle compatibility. You should improve the quality of DB tests against Oracle databases. Indeed, we’re lacking automated testing against Oracle (although there are members of this community doing manual tests on Oracle at each final release AFAIK). Would you be willing to help out by: * Performing manual tests on Oracle when we release milestones so that we can be sure to have a final version working on Oracle * Write and work on our automated tests/builds to ensure that all existing XWiki tests are executed on Oracle? Hi, currently I do some testing but in the context of introduction of the XWiki in our company. Maybe I could help with some manual tests but I cannot guarantee to be always handy. If you could provide more information about manual tests and what does it involves, I will think about it. Programming automated test would be probably not possible, I’m not specialist on java but I could get a try. I do not promise anything ;) Mirec
