Hi Vincent, Unfortunately I still have some academic stuff to do so I can't work right now completely for XWiki.. I will do a little bit less now at the beginning and more later to catch up. I hope that's not a problem!? Here in Austria the summer term ends at the end of June :-(
* A general planning breaking down the high level tasks you have to do and giving deadlines for each. That'll help you reach your objectives and in that manner we (the mentors and the community in general) can also help you by reviewing milestone objectives and helping you achieve them * what are your next steps and when you're planning to have them done I'm working on the SSO project (OpenID, SAML) and will now start evaluating the various available projects. I'll start with
- OpenSSO (https://opensso.dev.java.net/) - Shibboleth (http://shibboleth.internet2.edu/) - Enterprise Sign On Engine (http://esoeproject.org/) - JOSSO (http://www.josso.org/) ?? (Feel free to add others - those are the ones that I found until now.) Then I'll start to integrate one of those frameworks into XWiki to support OpenID/SAML based authentication. Finally I'll extend the support to let XWiki act as an identity provider. Regarding the deadlines: I planned to evaluate all the above frameworks until the end of next week (5th or 6th May). Then I'll start to integrate the chosen one into XWiki. I'm not 100% sure to be able to complete that until the mid-term evaluation (7th July) since I still have exams and projects. But I'll finish for sure until mid of July (somewhere between 14th and 20th July). Afterwards I'll work on SSO provider support. How does this sound for you? Do you think that's reasonable? I wish you all good work and a wonderful summer, Markus
