Is there any easy way to list the currently online (logged in) users of the wiki?

All, I have a problem. I logging in, after I'm close the window of my wiki When I open my site, I follow loggin in. So I clean all the cookies, the cache, but I always follow loggin in. Thanks in advance

smtp server setup

Hello! I installed a new instance of xwiki on my local machine. I tried to set up the email notification but it didn't really work. In the XWiki Preferences I set the outgoing smtp server to several smtp servers such as smtp.google.com, smtp.comcast.net, etc. Howver, there seem to be some authentication issues and I get the following error message: *** Error number 4001 in 4: Error while parsing velocity page Demo.SendMailTestPage Wrapped Exception: Invocation of method 'sendMessage' in class com.xpn.xwiki.XWiki threw exception class com.xpn.xwiki.XWikiException : Error number 10006 in 10: Could not send mail to server smtp.comcast.net port 25 error code 530 (530 Authentication required ) OR Error number 4001 in 4: Error while parsing velocity page Demo.SendMailTestPage Wrapped Exception: Invocation of method 'sendMessage' in class com.xpn.xwiki.XWiki threw exception class com.xpn.xwiki.XWikiException : Error number 10006 in 10: Could not send mail to server smtp.gmail.com port 25 error code 530 (530 5.7.0 Must issue a STARTTLS command first h14sm757315wxd ) *** I also tried to use my own smtp server (hmailserver) but then I had some relay problems and the following error message: *** Error number 4001 in 4: Error while parsing velocity page Demo.SendMailTestPage Wrapped Exception: Invocation of method 'sendMessage' in class com.xpn.xwiki.XWiki threw exception class com.xpn.xwiki.XWikiException : Error number 10006 in 10: Could not send mail to server mail.hmailserver.com port 25 error code 550 (550-207-105-15-139.ded.pacbell.net (XWiki version 0.9.840) 207.105.15.139? is 550-currently not permitted to relay through this server. Perhaps you have not 550-logged into the pop/imap server in the last 30 minutes or do not have SMTP 550 Authentication turned on in your email client. ) *** I have right now no idea how to resolve these issues. $xwiki.copyDocument, objects, and cache

When copying a document using $xwiki.copyDocument(), I find that all the attached objects are copied along with the document, and I am able to view them appropriately. However, they are not available to other users, and when I call $xwiki.flushCache(), only the document content remains; the objects are no longer attached. A further detail, whether relevant or not, is that the document being copied is a user profile document (defined as a document named XWiki.<username>, where <username> is the login name of the user, and containing an XWiki.XWikiUsers object). Yet another detail, puzzling though it may be, is that of the objects in the original, one of them is the one defined in the xwiki-db-0.9.2.sql database download as an object of XWiki class XWiki.XWikiRights with ID 165499024, with a field named "levelsye". It's one of two XWiki.XWikiRights objects attached to a user profile document by createUser; the other one explicitly gives edit permission to the user himself. No other XWiki.XWikiRights objects contain this field, nor does the current definition of the XWiki.XWikiRights class contain it; instead they contain a field called "levels". So, the questions are, in order of (logarithmically) decreasing importance: 1. How can I make this work? 2. Does a user profile document have some special status that makes it inappropriate to make a copy? 3. Actually I saw that code. The simplest fix I could figure was this... In the page http://.../xwiki/bin/edit/XWiki/WebRssCode, I replaced this line <dc:date>$currentdoc.date</dc:date> with <dc:date>$xwiki.formatDate($currentdoc.date, "yyyy-MM-dd'T'HH:mm:ss")</dc:date> The fix however omits the timezone. There is java code at http://www.dpawson.co.uk/relaxng/schema/datetime.html which handles the timezone as well. The SimpleDateFormat pattern "yyyy-MM-dd'T'HH:mm:ss.SSSZ" is close as it gives 2005-06-29T17:20:46.171-0800 This however does not work because of the missing colon. It needs to be 2005-06-29T17:20:46.171-08:00 The simplest way seems to be to use commons-lang utilities DateFormatUtils.ISO_DATETIME_TIME_ZONE_FORMAT.format(new Date()) Since commons-lang is already part of the distribution is there a easy way to add this code? Hi everyone, What do you think about enabling anyone to suggest bounty on XWiki ? Example: I need a script for listing all the page in the wiki who contain the word "hate". I don't know how to do it. New {table} types?

Hi, Relevant Stats: Fedora Core 4 / JBoss 4.0.4 / XWiki 0.9.840 / MySQL 5.0 I want to be able to introduce a new tag - like {table}, but with a different style. {table style="foo"} as an extension would be good. I found things like TableMacro, TableBuilder, as starting points but could not find Table.java (which they use). Hi, I have been running an XWiki server on my PC for about 3 weeks and have been entering a lot of useful information about our companies IT Systems. This is currently on a Windows XP machine running Tomcat and MySQL. I am in the process of setting up a Dell server running either aLinux or Debian Linux to act as a permanent home for the XWiki. If I follow the installation instructions on setting up a new XWiki - can I then just copy the XWiki database over from the Windows PC and set access rights to the XWiki user or is it more complicated than that (if so can anyone point me in the direction of any documentation) Cheers Tom Stone Network Administrator

Skins are pretty much simple to setup once you've found out about classes and how they work. There is a FAQ for skins (listed under how to change image I think), but the FAQ has not been loading for the last few days. In a nutshell then (and I hope I got it all right - been awhile): Preparation: Open two explorer windows; both connected to Xwiki as Administrator. On the one, open the Default Skin (normally called "Xwiki.MySkin") and go to "More Actions", and select "Edit Objects". I'll refer to that window as the Default Skin. Unless noted, the following steps are done on the other window. 1) Create new document under the XWiki webhome, call it "SkinName" - replace SkinName for your own name. 2) Click on "More Actions" and select "Edit Objects" 3) Under "Add Object" select "Xwiki.XwikiSkins"; and click "Add Object from this Class". 4) Now on the Default Skin window, copy all the content under Style. 5) On the new skin, paste the text you just copied into the empty Style field. 6) Name your skin the same as your document name (eg "Xwiki.SkinName") 7) Click Save Objects, and go back to your content page (click on the document name) 8) Edit the content now ("Edit this Page" link). 9) For ease of use, paste the following into the text box: __________________ 1 Skin To active this skin by default, user "Edit XWiki Preferences" in the "More Actions" menu and enter XWiki.(skinname) in the skin field. * <a href="$doc.getURL("edit","xpage=editobject")">Edit this skin</a> * [Test this skin>Main.WebHome?skin=${doc.fullName}] 1.1 Current styles and templates * <a href="/xwiki/templates/">Template</a> * <a href="/xwiki/skins/default/">Styles</a> ____________ 10) Click Save.
