xWiki Behind Apache Mod_Proxy. https -> http

I am using xWiki behind an apache server and using Mod proxy to proxy https requests to the tomcat server. The problem is that xWiki rewrites the urls to http://host... so they have to get bounced off the http default server host configuration that redirects them to https://host.... Therefore the posts do not work because the redirect breaks the session. How can I turn off the url rewriting in xwiki so that the urls use the relative reference not the full absolute reference? Or is there a way to tell it to rewrite urls with the https (not http) protocal? Order by property of a class

Hi, I am querying for all the users whose addresses are matching a particular pattern. (there is an "address" property in the UserClass). Also I want to the results to be sorted by another property, "username". I found a similar query in this mailing list thread : http://www.nabble.com/select-objects-by-class-and-sort-by-property-tf710844… I tried forming the following query but it is wrong. , BaseObject as obj, StringProperty as prop, StringProperty as otherprop join obj.id=otherprop.id.id and otherprop.id.name='username' where obj.name=doc.fullName and obj.className='Users.UserClass' and obj.id=prop.id.id and prop.id.name='address' and prop.value like '%someaddress%' order by otherprop.value Can anyone tell me what the correct query should be like. Hi all I have some problems on customizing Xwiki layout. 1. I change the copyright information in Administration Preference, for example "It is Roc's wiki, please join us". but I can see only part of this,"It is Roc", in some pages's right bottom corner, and "<div id" in the same row on the left,other pages seems ok. 2. I replace the logo following the instruction on xwiki.org, attached my logo to /xwiki/bin/view/XWiki/DefaultSkin and edited objects for my logo. Every logo inside xwiki is ok, but the logo in login page still remained xwiki.org logo. (I set anyone must regist and login befor seeing anything in my xwiki). 3. After I put a large table which contains 70 rows, the bottom panels (not only one) disappeared. And left some error message <h5 class="xwikipaneltitle" onclick="if(eltHasClass(this.parentNode, 'expanded')) createCookie('XWiki.Admin_Panels.NewPage','collapsed', ''); else eraseCookie('XWiki.Admin_Panels. [xwiki-users] Space rights configuration...

Hi all, maybe I'm missing something, but I have problems to assigning rights to a newly created space. When I change to the "Space Rights" tab in the admin panel I have no possibility to enter anything (no drop downs etc.). If I edit the "system" space XWiki I can see them. How am I supposed to enter these rights? I am using Firefox 1.5 on Ubuntu 7.04 to edit the pages. XWiki runs on the same machine with a PostgreSQL 8.2 database. Thanks in advance. Cheers, Aleks

Hi, For smtp setup for xwiki registration (Administration<http://www.people-to-remember.com/xwiki/bin/view/XWiki/>> Preferences <http://www.people-to-remember.com/xwiki/bin/view/XWiki/XWikiPreferences> > Registration ), I see a value for SMTP server, though how do I configure the authentication settings to be able to login into the smtp server, such as userid / password? Hello! I installed a new instance of xwiki on my local machine. I tried to set up the email notification but it didn't really work. In the XWiki Preferences I set the outgoing smtp server to several smtp servers such as smtp.google.com, smtp.comcast.net, etc. Howver, there seem to be some authentication issues and I get the following error message: *** Error number 4001 in 4: Error while parsing velocity page Demo.SendMailTestPage Wrapped Exception: Invocation of method 'sendMessage' in class com.xpn.xwiki.XWiki threw exception class com.xpn.xwiki.XWikiException : Error number 10006 in 10: Could not send mail to server smtp.comcast.net port 25 error code 530 (530 Authentication required ) OR Error number 4001 in 4: Error while parsing velocity page Demo.SendMailTestPage Wrapped Exception: Invocation of method 'sendMessage' in class com.xpn.xwiki.XWiki threw exception class com.xpn.xwiki.XWikiException : Error number 10006 in 10: Could not send mail to server smtp.gmail.com port 25 error code 530 (530 5.7.0 Must issue a STARTTLS command first h14sm757315wxd ) *** I also tried to use my own smtp server (hmailserver) but then I had some relay problems and the following error message: *** Error number 4001 in 4: Error while parsing velocity page Demo.SendMailTestPage Wrapped Exception: Invocation of method 'sendMessage' in class com.xpn.xwiki.XWiki threw exception class com.xpn.xwiki.XWikiException : Error number 10006 in 10: Could not send mail to server mail.hmailserver.com port 25 error code 550 (550-207-105-15-139.ded.pacbell.net (XWiki version 0.9.840) 207.105.15.139? is 550-currently not permitted to relay through this server. Perhaps you have not 550-logged into the pop/imap server in the last 30 minutes or do not have SMTP 550 Authentication turned on in your email client. ) *** I have right now no idea how to resolve these issues. I noticed that hibernate includes a new line (or at least it is I think the first time I read it) in the MySQL configuration comment: We need to set the sql_mode to a less strict value, see XWIKI-1945 And connection.url is slightly different: jdbc:mysql://localhost/xwiki?useServerPrepStmts=false&sessionVariables=sql_mode='' Perhaps I am doing something wrong, but I think I am following the same proces I've used before.
