Well, I am not using the distribution wizard because I want to use tomcat and a different DB to Xwiki.
You can use the Distribution Wizard with any Java application server and any database supported by XWiki. Hope this helps, Marius

Does not have much to do with the database, starting with 5.0 guest user does not have admin right in an empty wiki anymore, you have to use superadmin (see http://platform.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/AdminGuide/Security#HSuperadminacco...) to do this import. Any specific reason to not use Distribution Wyzard ?

But analyzing by the integrity of data side, to put the MS SQL instead of HSQLDB it's an improvement!

Then I installed again the xwiki with Tomcat7. I followed the WAR instructions and I have got a successful installation. As result I have now a empty wiki.
Well, now I am facing some problems to import the default page packet.
Following the instructions in site (Xwiki) I accessed the Import feature by this address: http://localhost:8080/xwiki/bin/admin/XWiki/XWikiPreferences
BUT, I am always redirected to the default login page, the I cant import pages... I know that I don't have administrator users.
How I can import the basic content?
