Hi, unfortunately I have no experience with running XWiki on the given DB/OS combination, so here are only a few generic thoughts? - in the webapps/xwiki/WEB-INF/classes/log4j.xml is the config for the logs, there might be some stuff in the logs to read - if the server is seemingly "endlessly busy", try to get a stack trace [Actually the first thing XWiki does on the initial startup is to create the initial search index - that might take a moment ...] - come to think of it, are the database tables created? If not, then certainly the connection to the DB fails. Finally, while I have never been able to reproduce it, I have heard reports in one case that XWiki shows similar symptoms when started on a server with very restrictive firewall settings, where attempts of XWiki to connect to the outside have been simply dropped. XWiki has been working, but has been excessively slow. However I did not even get a stack trace from that case, so I am not sure if the firewall or whatever caused that behaviour. Clemens
Hello All:
I am running into issues with setting up xwiki enterprise platform on my network. Basically it starts and loads to 100% and not much else I am thinking it's a configuration issue with something I have left out.
Here is what I am using for xwiki.
Win2012R2 SQL2012 Tomcat/JDBC/JTDS
Is their a definitive install guide for using windows/sql server? The stuff I have come across isn't as specific as I would like to see.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated and would be happy to post java output from tomcat.
