A clue might be the activity of the Javascript onload function, which XWiki sets to look up cookies and such. With the WYSIWYG editor there might be quite a bit of activity, though I don't know whether the browser executes onload before or after it renders a page. brain[sic]

3. If I go to a document (click on a link;-)) the whole document is shown, but after that the browser shows an active connection and is working several seconds before its finnished. This irritates a little bit and I don't see any reason why this happen. Has anyone see this behaviour by yourself?
Additionally to this behaviour sometimes the browser hangs for several seconds.
