Julien, I'm not going to solve this for you... (and I don't have access to your machine). The only thing I can tell you is what I've already told you: xwiki wants to write a xwiki.log file in the directory where it is started. Now I'll let you find out from what directory you're starting it. If you want to change the location of the log file you'll need to unpack the WAR file, unjar the xwiki jar, modify the log4j.properties file so that the log file is created in the directory you want and repack the whole thing. Hmm... Actually there might be a simpler solution: just create a new log4j.properties file and place it before the xwiki war in the Tomcat classpaths. Note: I haven't done that so don't ask me how ;-) When you've found out how to make all this work, it would be nice to post back so that others can learn from your case.
